Youth Art Classes

Our youth art classes provide a supportive space for young artists to explore drawing, painting, digital art, and more. Guided by professional teaching artists, students build skills, develop their creativity, and begin to form their own artistic voice through hands-on, process-based learning.

Program Details

  • Spring: January 5 – May 23, 2026

    • Weekly 1.5 hour classes

    • Days/times vary by class

    • New theme or focus each month

    • Curriculum builds across the semester

  • All materials are included in registration! Some classes offer an optional art kit add-on (see class pages for availability). For Digital Art, all tech and software are provided in-studio.

  • Full Semester (Best Value)

    • One-time payment or installment plan

    • Includes all scheduled classes for the semester

    • Students receive a personal portfolio and automatically participate in our youth exhibition

    Monthly Registration

    • Pay month-to-month

    • Ideal for families who need flexibility

    • Monthly rate is fixed, but class count may vary (3–5 classes depending on holidays)

    Drop-Ins

    • Drop-in sessions available for select classes

    • Pricing varies by class

    Step 2: Choose Your Registration Option
    On each class page, you can select the full semester (best value) or monthly registration. Drop-ins and free trials are also available.

    Step 3 – Complete Booking on Sawyer
    After choosing your registration option, you’ll be redirected to a secondary booking page hosted on Sawyer, our secure registration platform.

    There, you’ll find additional details on curriculum, payment, and booking options to complete your registration and checkout. If you’re new, you’ll need to create a family profile and add your child’s info.

  • Our classes take place at Stay Studio, a community art studio, gallery, and creative space in Downey, CA. Students work with high-quality art supplies in an inspiring setting surrounded by local artwork.
