Summer Adaptive Art Program

Join us for a three-week Summer Adaptive Art Program designed for children, teens, and adults who benefit from adapted instruction and small-group learning. Students will explore a variety of visual art projects in a welcoming studio environment with individualized support.
Regional Center participants and private-pay families are welcome. All new participants begin with a Participant Referral prior to enrollment.

Intake Form
All new participants must complete our Adaptive Art Intake before enrolling.
The intake helps our team learn about the participant’s communication, support needs, interests, and goals so we can determine the best class placement.
Regional Center Participants: The intake must be completed by the participant’s Regional Center Service Coordinator or Independent Facilitator.
Private-Pay Participants: Parents or guardians may complete the intake directly and are responsible for the full program tuition.
The Stay Arts Adaptive Art Program is a social-recreational community program with classes limited to 8 participants. Submission of an intake does not guarantee placement. Our team will review each submission and contact the family, service coordinator, or facilitator with next steps.

Program Fee: $275
Includes: 3 weekly class sessions
Commitment: Enrollment is for the full three-week program.
Funding Options:
Regional Center Funding: Participants who receive services through a California Regional Center may be eligible to have tuition funded through their Regional Center. To be considered, the Participant Intake must be completed by the participant's Regional Center Caseworker or Independent Facilitator. Funding approval is determined by the participant's Regional Center.
Private-Pay: Participants who are not using Regional Center funding may enroll through the private-pay pathway. If offered placement, the full program tuition of $275 is the responsibility of the participant's parent or guardian. Payment plans available.

The Summer Adaptive Art Program runs July 21 – August 8, 2026.
Enrollment is for this three-week program only. Additional Adaptive Art Programs are planned to begin in September for our Fall Semester, and participants who are not placed this summer may have future enrollment opportunities.
All new participants begin by completing a Participant Referral prior to registration.

Every participant begins with the same Participant Referral process.
Our team reviews each referral to recommend the class environment that will provide the best experience. Placement is based on classroom capacity, participant needs, and our ability to provide appropriate support within the program.
Submitting a Participant Referral does not guarantee placement.

A participant's first class serves as an initial placement session.
Teaching artists will observe classroom participation, support needs, and overall fit to help ensure the participant is placed in the most appropriate learning environment. If additional supports are recommended or needed, our team will discuss available options with the participant's family or primary contact.

To help create a safe, supportive, and successful experience for all participants, Adaptive Art Programs follow program policies related to attendance, behavior, and classroom safety. Full policies will be provided prior to registration.

Stay Arts believes financial circumstances should never prevent someone from participating in the arts.
Scholarships are available for qualifying families based on available funding.
For participants eligible through Regional Center, funding may also be available once Stay Arts becomes an approved vendor.
