Every participant begins with the same application process.
Our team reviews each application to recommend the class environment that will provide the best experience. Depending on the participant's needs, we may recommend additional supports or request additional information before enrollment.
Submitting a Participant Application does not guarantee placement.
-
We want every participant to have a positive and successful experience. Before enrolling, please review our Class & Camp Policies to learn more about attendance, participant expectations, cancellations, and other important information.
-
Stay Arts believes financial circumstances should never prevent someone from participating in the arts.
Scholarships are available for qualifying participants enrolling in Adaptive Small Group classes.
For participants eligible through Regional Center, funding may also be available once Stay Arts becomes an approved vendor.
Scholarship applications are reviewed on a rolling basis while funding remains available.
Why Families Love Our Classes
-
Our teaching artists have experience working with children of diverse ages and walks of life. They are all background-checked, CPR-certified, and teach at local schools through our partnership programs.
-
Our classes take place at Stay Studio, a community art studio, gallery, and creative space in Downey, CA. Students work with high-quality art supplies in an inspiring setting surrounded by local artwork.
-
Our classes focus on exploration and expression over perfection. This process-based approach builds confidence, boosts mental and emotional wellbeing, and fosters a lifelong love of art.
