As part of Employee Wellness Through the Arts Week 2026, Stay Studio is opening its doors to County employees for an afternoon of art, conversation, and hands-on creativity.
Stay Studio is a space where artists, youth, and families come together through year-round classes, exhibitions, and community art programs. This visit offers a chance to step into the space, experience the work happening here, and engage with art in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
What to Expect
Open Studio (12–4 PM)
Drop in anytime to explore the space and participate in a button-making workshop. No experience needed – just come in and create.Founder Tour (2 PM)
Join founder Gabriel Enamorado for a guided walkthrough of the current Student Youth Arts Exhibition, along with an introduction to Stay Arts’ mission, programs, and work across the community.Flexible Experience
Attend on your own or with colleagues. Spend time creating, exploring, or simply stepping away from the workday.
Optional Visit
On Tuesday, May 12, you may also visit South Gate Museum and Art Gallery to view the Alma Querida (Dear Soul) exhibition and participate in an additional art workshop.
