Stay Studio is a versatile, community-driven event space designed for artists, organizations, and professionals. Located in the heart of Downtown Downey, our space is ideal for community events, exhibitions, creative projects, and professional gatherings. Originally established as Stay Gallery in 2012, our space has long served as a hub for creative expression, professional collaboration, and connection in an inspiring environment.

Stay Studio offers 800 sq. ft. of open floor space, tall gallery walls, and a built-in serving bar. With high ceilings and a flexible layout, the space is designed to accommodate a range of creative and professional uses. We are located in the heart of Downtown Downey, walking distance from local restaurants, shopping and public transportation.

Perfect for small to mid-sized events – workshops, film or video shoots, brand releases, live performances, business mixers, team building, board retreats, fundraisers, and more!

Please keep in mind that set up and clean up time must be accounted for in your total booking time. We have a 3 hour minimum policy.

    10’ x 15’ canopy with string lights for our back patio space. Must be added to your rental if you plan to have an outdoor food vendor

Rate

$125/hr

$75/hr for nonprofits

  • Please take the time to read our event policies before booking.

  • The space is cleaned and disinfected daily in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities. Hand sanitizer stations and one HEPA-certified air filter during your event.

  • 25% non-refundable deposit (of total booking price) is required to secure your booking. The remaining 75% is due before or on the day of your event.

    • Before 7 days of the event – Only the 25% deposit is retained.

    • Within 7 days of the event – Client is responsible for 50% of the total rental fee.

    • Same day or no-show – Client is responsible for 100% of the total rental fee.
