Terms & Waiver

Media Acknowledgment

The Model acknowledges that artists retain ownership of their own artworks, and that Stay Arts may use such artworks for promotional, educational, and archival purposes with the explicit permission of the respective artists.

Stay Arts has a strict policy that artists in attendance are not allowed to take photographs or videos of the Model for any reason. If Stay Arts intends to take photographs or videos of the session for social media and promotional purposes, this will only be done by a Stay Arts staff member and only with the Model's explicit permission. Stay Arts affirms that no photographs or videos will be taken of the Model during the session without their explicit permission.

Waiver and Release

While we take every precaution to ensure the safety of our models and participants, participation in our figure drawing classes may involve inherent risks.

The Model acknowledges and understands the physical nature of live modeling and accepts any inherent risks associated with posing. The Model hereby releases, discharges, and holds harmless Stay Arts, its agents, employees, and anyone acting under its authority from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, causes of action, costs, and expenses, whether at law or in equity, arising out of or related to injuries, illness, accidents, or damages that may occur during any figure drawing class.

COVID-19 Policies

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. Stay Arts exercises the following preventative measures:

  • Face masks are strongly encouraged inside.

  • Class participants are recommended to be vaccinated and boosted.

  • Hand-sanitizer stations are accessible throughout the space.

  • Frequent cleaning and disinfection before, during and after classes.

Please stay home if you are sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. If you test positive for COVID-19 after visiting Stay Gallery, please contact our team at (562) 774-2056 so that we can implement COVID-19 safety procedures and contact exposed participants and staff to limit further spread.
